1st Day: Arrival in Beijing
You'll be met upon arrival at the Capital Airport of
Beijing with comfortable private transfer and check
into your hotel. The left hours of the day are for
free individual activities. No scheduled program is
arranged.
2nd Day: Beijing (B+L+D)
You will be thrilled the whole day when you visit
the Tiananmen Square - one of the largest and
grandest city squares in the world; the Forbidden
City - the imperial palace of Ming and Qing
Dynasties and the Temple of Heaven - once was the
royal temple. The Beijing Duck Dinner is served as
Welcome Dinner at the renowned original Quan Ju De
Restaurant, which boasts a history of over 100
years. The cheering Peking Opera (the national
opera) is scheduled as evening delight after dinner.
3rd Day: Beijing (B+L+D)
You will be accompanied by our local professional
guide to one of the greatest world heritage sites -
the Great Wall, Badaling section. Drive to escape
the shopping site tourist restaurants near the Great
Wall to have a decent meal -Sichuan food, for lunch.
The visits continue to the Sacred Way and the Ming
Tomb in the afternoon. You will sample Cantonese
cuisine for dinner at a top restaurant in the
Wangfujing Street, a la carte style.
4th Day: Beijing -
Urumqi (B+L)
After the morning duration at the Royal Garden -
Summer Palace. Head for Urumqi by flight and your
local professional tour guide will expect you with
comfortable airport-hotel transfer service.
5th Day: Urumqi -
Kashgar (B+L)
This morning, you will board flight for Kashgar -
'the pearl on the Ancient Silk Road'. Upon arrival,
your local professional tour guide will expect you
with comfortable airport-hotel transfer service.
After settling in the hotel, have the must-see
visits to Sunday Market. Throughout the bazaars, you
will find some stalls that sell everything while
others specialize and sell local produce, arts and
crafts, garments, knives, timber, coal, and animals.
6th Day: Kashgar -
Urumqi - Turpan (B+L)
A new day exploration start from a tour to
the Id Kah Mosque located on the center of square in
Kashgar City, then walk across the Old Street,
follow a visit to the Abakh Khoja Tomb which admired
as a well-preserved Islamic architectural complex.
Head for Urumqi by flight and your professional tour
guide will transfer you to Turpan. Check procedures
will be followed.
7th Day: Turpan (B+L)
The first stop of Turpan focus on the Jiaohe Ruins,
which is known as the largest, oldest and
best-preserved earthen city in the world. As a
leading way of fetching water in the past, the visit
to Karez Well will inspire your interest. Then
conclude the day by visit to the Sugong Pagoda.
8th Day: Turpan -
Dunhuang (B+L+D)
The Turpan tour continue with the Gaochang Ruins in
the morning, then head for Baizikeli Thousand Buddha
Cave, the most valuable Buddhist caves in Turpan and
have a glimpse of the legendary Flaming Hill in the
novel of 'The Journey to the West'. Board the
overnight soft sleeper train to Dunhuang.

9th Day: Dunhuang (L)
Our local tour guide will expect you at the Liuyuan
railway station with comfortable transfer to the
hotel in Dunhuang. Breakfast is handled by your own.
After settled in the hotel, start a tour to Mogao
Grottoes, a shrine of Buddhist art treasures. The
tour ends with a visit to Dunhuang Museum.
10th Day: Dunhuang -
Xian (B+L+D)
An amusive camel-riding experience to Echoing-Sand
Dune and Crescent Lake will pack your Dunhuang
travel. Head for Xian by flight and be transferred
to check in at the well selected hotel, where a
luxurious buffet dinner is served at your
convenience.
11th Day: Xian (B+L+D)
You will have a visit to the Terracotta Warriors and
Horses Museum which is said to be the Eighth Wonder
of the world. Drive back by highway to downtown to
have a decent lunch at a well-known Cantonese
cuisine restaurant. Visit the Big Wild Goose Pagoda
and the Great Mosque and the City Wall after lunch.
In the evening, we arrange the Dumpling Banquet
which is unique in Xian, the marvelous Tang Dynasty
Music and Dance Show is scheduled afterwards.
12th Day: Xian (B+L)
Have a visit to the Provincial History Museum in the
morning. After an a la carte lunch is served at a
famous restaurant, have a visit to the Great Mosque
and a local family.
13th Day: Xian -
Shanghai (B+L)
Visit the Hanyangling Museum, the Mausoleum of
Western Han Emperor Liu Qi on the way to the
airport. After lunch, head for Shanghai by afternoon
flight and your professional tour guide will meet
you with comfortable airport-hotel transfer.
14th Day: Shanghai (B+L+D)
The first stop of Shanghai is to visit the Shanghai
Museum which houses large collections of historical
items. Then go ahead to the famous Yuyuan Garden.
After lunch, take a cruise tour on the Huangpu
River. The Farewell Dinner is arranged at Central
Hotel as the fitting finale to your discovery of
China, the restaurant Wang Bao He in the hotel has a
history of over 260 years and is the best place to

Day - 01 Kathmandu / Kodari / Zhangmu (Drive
Trek)
This morning we depart Kathmandu by surface on a
scenic drive to Kodari (Nepal-Tibet border), through
the beautiful Nepalese countryside. We leave our
vehicals here and start a short walk of about one
hour 30 minutes uphill with porters to Shangmu
Immigrations - known to Nepalese as Khasa, hangs on
a cliff face, its boom town architecture having a
temporary look; even the monastery roofs are
sheathed in corrugated iron sheets and is situated
at a height of 2,500 m. Overnight stay at the Hotel.
Day - 02 Zhangmu /
Xegar
Today we drive uphill to the highest plateau of the
world with the typical view of Tibetan landscape,
crossing over Nyalam Pass (3,800 m) and Lalung-La
(Pass) at 5,050m, with views of beautiful Himalayan
Ranges panorama including the Mt. Everest (8,848 m)
to Zhangmu (244 Kms).
Also called "new tingri", is surrounded by
mountains, Zhangmu is another town that lies in the
shadow of a great fortress. Even in ruins it is
majestic. Seeming to grow out of the craggy brown
rock, its sinous wall bristles with watchtowers like
stegosaurus spines. Isolated in 1855 by Nepalese in
search of booty, the Gurkhas cut off the Dzong's
water supply and settled in for a long siege.

Day 03 Xegar / Xigatse
(Drive)
We continue on our drive to Lhatse (T-cross to Mt.
Everest), and crossing over the Gyatsola Pass at
5,220 m, which is the highest enroute to Xigatse
(240 Kms). Xigatse is the second largest town in
Tibet and the capital of Tsang, lying 354 Kms. west
of Lhasa at an altitude of 3,810 m. Overnight stay
at the Hotel.
Day - 04 Xigatse /
Gyantse (Drive)
This morning we will visit the Panchen Lama's
Tashilhumpu Moanastery, and continue on our drive to
gyantse (90 Kms) - is a pastoral town between Lhasa
and xigatse. It is 264 Kms. southwest of Lhasa, and
still retains the charm of a traditional Tibetan
town untouched by modern expansion. As a crossroad
on the principle trade route to India, it used to be
renowned for the excellence of its carpets. The
compound, encircled by on impressive wall, once
contained 19 monasteries, presided over by the still
intact fortress perched atop a nearby mountain.
Later in the day visit the Kumbum Stupa and Phalkor
Monastery. Overnight stay at the Hotel.
Day - 05 Gyantse /
Lhasa (Drive)
We continue on a full day picturesque drive crossing
over Karola Pass at 5,010m, Kambala Pass at 4,794 m.
and a colourful Yamdrok Lake, sometimes along the
Tibetan lifeline river Brahmaputra also known as
yarlung Tsangpo, to the capital town Lhasa (264 Kms).
Day - 06 Lhasa
Today we will visit the Jokhang Temple, situated in
the heart of Old Lhasa, it houses Tibet's most
precious religious relic, a golden Shakyamuni Buddha
which was brought as a gift bythe Chinese Princess
Wen Cheng on the occasion of her wedding to the
Tibetan King, Songtsen Gompo. Surrounding the
Jokhang Temple is the bustling Barkhor Market place
which is the religious and social focus of Lhasa.
Later in the day visit the Potala Palace, this
legendary palace built atop a single hill is
synonymous with Tibet by the first foremost king
Songtsen Gompa. It was expanded to its present
structure during the 17th century by the 5th Dalai
Lama. This 13 story 1000 room citadel served as the
headquarters of the former "church-state" of Tibet
and was home to successive Dalai Lamas, who from the
latter half of the 18th century used it as their
Winter palace. Overnight stay at the Hotel.

Day 01 - Kathmandu/ Lhasa Flight
This morning you will fly for about an hour over the
panoramic Himalayan Ranges to the capital of Tibet "
Lhasa" - at an altitude of 3,650 mt, is situated on
the north bank of Kyichu River. Lhasa in Tibetan
means "Place of the Gods", the residence of the
Dalai Lama. Life is unhurried, its people jovial and
yet remaining staunchly independent.
On arrival you will be met by the local
representative and transferred to your respective
hotel. Balance off the day free to relax and
acclimatize to the altitude.

Sightseeing
Today we will visit the Jokhang Temple, situated in

Day 03 - Lhasa
Excursion
This morning we will drive to Drepung Monastery, 8
Kms west of Lhasa - said to be the largest monastery
in the world, housing over 10,000 monks. It was
founded in 1416 by the disciple of Je Tsonkhapa,
founder of the Yellow Hat Gelukpa sect of Tibetan
Buddhism. The second, third and fourth Dalai Lamas
lived and were entombed here. Drepung in Tibetan
means "Richmond".
Also visit the Sera Monastery, 5 Kms north of Lhasa,
Sera setting is one of Lhasa's prettiest
monasteries. Once a community of more than 5,000
monks resided here and was virtually extinguished by
the Chinese. The restored monastery sits below the
brow of hill on which tsongkhapa built a hermitage
and spent several years mediating. One of the monks
disciples began building Sera in 1419, completing it
a few years later.

The Potala Palace:
Perched upon the Marpo Ri Hill, 130 meters above the
Lhasa valley, it is the greatest monumental
structure in Tibet.
We kindly suggest you take taxi to the top of the
palace which costs about 10 and then walk down after
your visiting.
The Jokhang Temple:
The Jokhang is the most celebrated temple
in Tibet. Because the temple is not controlled by a
particular sect of Tibetan Buddhism it attracts
adherents of all the sects as well as followers of
Bon-Po, Tibet's indigenous religion.
Barkhor Street:
The Barkhor is the oldest street in Lhasa as well as
the center of old Lhasa and remains very
traditional. It is a place where Tibetan culture,
economy, religion and arts are assembled.
Day 3 (B,L)

Full day city tour of Sera Monastery, Drupeng
Monastery, Norbulingka, and visit The Carpet
Factory.
Sera Monastery:
It is known as one of the three greatest
monasteries of Tibet.
It costs 15 to take a taxi to go, however, you can
bargain with the taxi driver.
Trupeng Monastery:
It is one of the biggest monasteries in
Tibet.
Norbulingka:
Norbulingka means "Jeweled Garden". It was
constructed as a summer palace for the Dalai Lama
and later served the whole governmental
administration.
The Carpet Factory:
The highland of Tibet is the actual home of
the oriental carpets. By visiting Carpet Factory you
will have a general idea how carpets are produced.
Day 4 (B,L)
Lhasa
Drive from Lhasa to Shigatse (about 347km). On the
way visit Yamdrok Lake, Karola Glacier and Palgor
Monastery. Stay overnight in Shigatse.
Yomdrok Lake:
Within Langkamu county, with an area of 638 square
km and a coastal line of 250 km.
The Palgor Chorten:
It is with 9 stories, 108 doors and 77
rooms. Each room contains a different statue of
Buddha and the wall frescoes telling the story about
it.
Day 5 (B,L)
Lhasa
Visit Tashilumpo Monastery, free market. Drive along
the Yaluzangbu River back to Lhasa.
Tashilhunpo Monastery:
Painted in red and white, the buildings in the
monastery stand closely together in terraced rows,
offering a grand and majestic view.
Day 6 (B,L)
Lhasa to Tsedang
Drive to Tsedang, capital of shannan region(about
175km). visit Yumbulhakang and Tradruk Temple.
Yumbulhakang:
the palace for the 1st tubo king niechi in the
Yalong river valley. it is also called "the mosher
and song holy hall".
The Tradruk Temple:
on the east bank of the Yalong river in the district
of Lhoka.

Tsedang
Drive to Samye Monastey,(about 175km). visit the
Samye monastery.
Samye Monastery
is located in Danang county, the north
bank of Yarlung Tsampo River, 38km to Tsedang. This
Monastery was built in accordance of an aspiration
of king Trisong Detsan and the construction was
directed by the famous Indian Masters Padmasambava
and Shantarakshita.

Tsedang to Airport.
